The Future of Fox Den
Owning and operating Fox Den Solutions has been an absolute dream come true; over the past eight years we have had the honor and privilege of meeting and working with some truly amazing people. When we started this endeavor we were skeptical that it would ever get off the ground; after many setbacks and uncertainties we stumbled our way through the uncharted process. With persistence and years of hard work, and with the help and support of many people, we were able to create what we believe to be Massachusetts' first and only commercial outdoor firearms training center.
Over the years we have hosted hundreds of classes, and thousands of shooters, many of whom returned for multiple classes. We had the honor of introducing many of our clients to firearms for the first time. Our students have ranged from age 7 to 81, come from diverse demographic backgrounds and all walks of life. We’ve had many laughs and a few tears, lots of sweat and even a little blood. We’ve trained day and night, in the cold, rain, snow, wind and heat. We’ve consumed lots of chili and fired lots of rounds. We are truly grateful to all of our clients who allowed us to assist them on their firearms' journey.
With each passing year we have grown bigger and better with attendance outpacing the previous; we’ve hosted nearly 5k shooters to date! We’ve done this without the flash and with our own unique Mom and Pop style, not to mention an Allstar cast of talented and skilled instructors. Word of mouth and referrals far exceeded any social media or website presence as to bringing in new clients. We have been honored to support and host numerous military, federal and local law enforcement entities. We’ve developed many professional and personal relationships and have witnessed many friendships develop between repeating clients. Drawing upon the vast experience and knowledge of our instructors, our goal has always been to deliver the highest quality of instruction possible.
As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, and we have decided that this will be our last year at our Rochester, MA location known as Fox Den. When we started Fox Den Solutions, our plan was to only operate for about 10 years and we’re almost there. We are still working on determining the fate of the range facility at this time, and we do have several prospective buyers interested; we would love to see the property continue as a training center. However, our location and situation are unique, and would require the right buyer with the right plan. We will be maintaining the parent training company and may offer scaled back mobile training opportunities in the future. Steve is already well into his next ventures as we work to build the next chapter of our lives.

Welcome to Fox Den Solutions, a world-class firearms training facility located in Rochester, MA, family owned and operated by Steve and Sarabeth Morrell. All of our instructors are service-connected disabled Veterans who hold numerous instructor credentials and possess decades of military and law enforcement experience. Whether you are new to the world of firearms training, or want to hone your already well-crafted skills, we have classes designed to meet the needs of all shooters. We offer pistol, rifle and shotgun classes. In addition, we are happy to tailor personalized classes to suit specific needs, from groups to individuals.
